Common FRL Port Sizes and Typical Applications

  • 1/8" & 1/4": Micro or miniature FRLs, suitable for small tools, low-flow automation, and space-constrained installations.
  • 3/8" & 1/2": Mid-sized units suitable for most general industrial machinery and pneumatic tools.
  • 3/4" & 1": Larger, high-capacity units designed for main line systems or large machinery requiring high airflow.
  • 1.5" & 2": High-flow industrial units for heavy-duty applications and, according to, sometimes found in special configurations.
